Georgia Reaffirms His Compromise with the Peace and the Economic Development

On Wednesday, in the context of the 79th UN General Assembly, the Prime Minister of Georgia, His Excellency Irakli Kobakhidze, referred to the conflicts in the Eastern European region and his country’s support for their resolution.

In his speech, the Prime Minister reaffirmed his country’s position on peace in the region and on the mutual cooperation of all nations, both economically and politically.
In this regard he assured, “Georgia guarantees access to 7 countries of the South Caucasus, without access to the sea, are connected to the rest of the world through our port infrastructure, which we will continue to develop”.
He also stressed the role of Georgia as a corridor connecting east and west, allowing energy supplies and trade relations in the European region.
Kobakhizde pointed to the resilience of Georgia, tested with the country’s growth despite “international pressure”, as well as its transparency and good development index.
The premier noted that all of the country’s economic achievements are a victory, according to his words illegal occupations, “Georgia continues to flourish and guaranteeing that our children will live in a more dignified, stronger and better Georgia”.
